“I want my fursuit to look like this, but I don’t know what it’s called!” Well, now ya do! This is the complete companion guide to the More Fur Less custom fursuit quote request form and a helpful intro to basic fursuit terminology.
All More Fur Less fursuits come complete with a head, bodysuit, hand paws, feet paws, and a tail. The price of a fursuit is influenced by the complexity of the character design and suit construction — markings, number of colors, type of materials, and add-ons like spikes, webbing, wings, and so on all — anything which adds labor and hard costs.
Our quote request form lets you choose the most popular fursuit elements using checkboxes. Describe any additional features in the character/suit description field and link to good reference so we can provide you with the most accurate estimate. (What makes good reference for a custom fursuit quote request? See our FAQ!)
Please note, all photos below are just single examples of a type, and can't possibly represent the wide range of custom looks available in each style. Check out @MoreFurLessInc on Instagram and @MoreFurLess on Twitter to see a wide variety of options in action!

A plantigrade bodysuit has a humanoid body shape with animal characteristics (think classic mascot costume).
Compared to a digitigrade suit which is built around padding, a plantigrade fursuit has less bulk, which a suiter may find cooler and more nimble.
A digitigrade suit is built over pillow-like padding that changes the contours of your body to create more animal-like legs.
This look is especially great for feral characters, toony "dropped-crotch" designs, and big stompy monsters!
Going digitigrade does add some bulk to the suit, but MFL designs your padding to minimize its impact on the range of motion and comfort.
Toony eyes are large with the whites of the eyes exaggerated. With toony eyes, your head's eyes always point directly ahead, which may be preferred by performers who use their eye-line as part of their communication or humor.
Follow-Me eyes seem to follow the observer from many angles of view. They are a popular choice for mascots and fursuiters who want to appear engaged with an audience or cameras no matter where they're looking.
A More Fur Less trademark! With our magnetic eyebrows you can quickly and easily change your suit's expression.
Go from happy to excited to confused to fierce just by repositioning one or both eyebrows. These are also designed to combine well with our other adjustable features.
Eyelids are attachable and detachable, one per eye. We also feature X-eye full-coverage eyelids for our opossum friends.Eyelids attach and detach individually, available in a range of expressions. We also offer full-coverage novelty eyelids, like hypnotic eyes or the X-eyes favored by our possum friends. Got fun new eyelid ideas? Describe them for us when you order!
Exchangeable tongues attach with velcro and can be placed in multiple positions.
Tongues can be short or long, and are available in any color — order as many as you'd like!
More options for changing your character's expression! Ears can be pinned back, bent forward — really any position you want.
Just when you thought you couldn't get any cuter.
An airbrush finish adds an extra level of realism to your character, helping blend the fur color transitions where appropriate and create more dimension.
Most MFL heads already include a small amount of airbrush finishing, but let us know in your description if your design requires something unusual!
Bars, snake bits, septum rings, ear gauges — you name it! Price will vary based on type and number of piercings.
MFL will design hands appropriate for your species/character. Use the Notes field in the quote request form to let us know what you envision.
We also craft specialty paws, like our hand paws with escapable slits for those needing more dexterity — great for musicians!). If you require additional sets of paws, describe your needs in the Notes field.

Indoor For the true paw enthusiast! Also great for toony critters. With beautiful paw pad details on the bottom, these cuties are perfect for hugging, petting, photos, and light indoor wear. Not suitable for outdoor wear or heavy use.
Deluxe Beautiful sculpted paw pads cast in rugged rubber for all-terrain durability. Can be made in ANY color. Suitable for indoor and outdoor wear.
Chibi Feet Just like deluxe, but kawaii! A marvel of engineering, they're just as rugged, but patterned to be petite for maximum cute.
Feral Four Toe offers more attention to detail in the beans and a new shape to the feet.

Select one. Standard is normal for most canine and feline tails. Plus is usually the right choice for dragon, crocodilia, lemur, etc. Extreme tails are rare — think kaiju, dinosaur, etc. Nub is typical for deer, lynx, docked canines, etc. None might look funny, so hopefully you have a really good reason for your choice.
