Buyer expectations: MFL will do our best to deliver a product as described and agreed upon in your order. Custom items ordered from More Fur Less (MFL) are handmade artistic representations of buyer requests in the More Fur Less style, which is not a guarantee of an exact replica of references or the style of previous MFL products.
MFL schedules orders for production after each has been paid in full, whereupon MFL will provide you with an estimated delivery window. Each individual order's wait time, production time, and delivery date will vary due to its unique design, supply, and production factors. While MFL will make every reasonable effort to complete orders by the estimated delivery date, orders may be subject to delay due to changing circumstances.
Modification requests: After an order has been placed, if you wish to change the character design, MFL will make every effort to accommodate your wishes if circumstances allow. MFL has sole discretion whether to accept change requests, which may result in changes to the order estimate and/or to the production schedule and delivery date.
Payment Plans: MFL may agree to accept payments for an order in installments. If you experience difficulty sticking to an agreed payment schedule, please contact MFL before the payment due date to discuss the situation and new arrangements, or if necessary to cancel the order.
Cancellations and Refunds: If you cancel your order or your order is canceled due to breach of contract, MFL will determine what portion of payment, if any, will be refunded. If MFL has to cancel an order at no fault of yours, MFL will refund all payments. Cancellation of orders by either party does not entitle buyers to any portion of work or materials. MFL reserves the right to complete and sell canceled projects at their sole discretion.
Handmade product variations: Every custom, handmade product is unique, and the look of each will be affected by the designer's determination of the best combination of available raw materials. You understand and accept that finished orders may differ in minor cosmetic ways from order specifications and MFL's prior work without materially affecting product quality or value.
Incorrect Product Delivered: MFL makes great effort during production and before delivery to check in and share work-in-progress photos and notes with our buyers to make sure they're satisfied with the product's design and construction. If you believe you've received an incorrect product, contact MFL before using the product to discuss the issue and sort things out. MFL has sole discretion to investigate and validate claims and determine the proper resolution.
Buyer's Responsibilities & Limitation of Liability: You guarantee that you have the necessary rights to order a product created in the image of your order's specifications. You understand and accept the risks inherent in wearing costumes, and you claim sole responsibility for the product's safe use. MFL cannot be held liable by anybody for the effects of buyer or third-party behavior.
MFL Warranty: MFL will do its best to deliver a satisfactory product as expected. MFL conducts thorough quality assurance checks on every product before it ships. All MFL products come with a 90-day warranty covering manufacturing defects. When you receive the product, you are responsible for inspecting it thoroughly to confirm its suitability and receipt of all expected parts. Warranty does not cover incorrect sizing due to buyer's submission of incorrect measurements, or damage attributable to excess or destructive use or intentional damage. Any third-party modification of the product without prior approval by MFL will void the warranty. If you believe your product has a manufacturing defect, stop using it immediately and contact MFL with documentation of the issue, and we will discuss next steps. MFL has sole discretion to determine proper resolution of warranty claims.
Delivery: When an order is finished, MFL will contact you to confirm the shipping details and an expected delivery window, and will not send the package until and unless you confirm the correct shipping address for that window. Most lower-48 U.S. buyers will receive free shipping and insurance through a major carrier of MFL's choice; other buyers will be responsible for shipping costs calculated at the time of delivery. MFL will not be responsible for any additional costs.
